2021 On the Road!
Hey there peeps! So 2020 was a wash for Charlie and I, no camping going on. Fast forward to April 2021…and here we go! Camping in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Super excited to spend some time outdoors and see folks I haven’t seen in over a year! So Charlie is parked and has water, electric and sewer. I’ve got his visor up and his rug out!! I’ve added a new little partner to my travels. If you look in the bottom left corner of the picture you will see “J”! A 10 year old 6 pound Yorkshire Terrier who thinks she’s a 150 pound mastiff!! Looking forward to good…

Gas Strut Addition to Charlie’s Front Tub
Just completed the first modification to Charlie! While I love Charlie, his front tub needed some help to make it easier to use. The front tub that holds his propane tank and battery has no way to hold it up. After researching as solution I came across a post on the nuCamp forum that provided the perfect solution. After some reading and researching I decided to try two different methods; a stainless steel french press and the AeroPress. First let’s talk about the French Press. Having used a glass one at home I wanted one that was more resilient and would hold the heat better. So after looking at the reviews…

Hello Charlie = Freedom on the Road!
Meet Charlie, my new tear-drop camper. Charlie is a 2019 T@B 320 S Boondock Edge, manufactured by nuCamp! I’m very excited to introduce this newest member of the blog. I am getting him prepped and ready to travel. With Charlie I expect great FREEDOM on the road while long-distance commuting. This 2019 TAB 320 S tear-drop camper comes loaded with features, its self-contained with a full bathroom and shower, 2-burner stove, and refrigerator. With Charlie almost road-worthy I am planning the first outing. The kids and I will head toward Gettysburg, then on to my mom’s. All in all about 550 miles. Not bad for a first round. Then Charlie…
